About the Artists 

TSE'S DUO

​

Tse’s Duo, established in 2018, is a remarkable collaboration of two dedicated pianists, Declan Tse and Tiffany Fung, who seamlessly blend their artistry and individual musical visions into a unified and expressive voice. Their partnership began at Hong Kong Baptist University, where their shared passion for piano duets flourished. They later pursued their master’s and doctorate degrees in piano performance with full scholarships at Southern Oregon University and the University of Florida, where they deepened their musical synergy and pedagogical expertise.

Tse’s Duo has received numerous accolades, including the Diamond Prize at the 2024 World Exceptional Musician Competition, First Prize at the 2021 GCC Series, and the First Prize at the 2020 Brookings Young Artist Competition. Their performances have been featured on Coastal Classics on KCIW Radio in Oregon and showcased in international concert venues across France, Hong Kong, the United States, and Canada. They have appeared in prestigious series such as the Tutunov Series, the Pablo Casals Festival, St. Patrick’s Catholic Church Music Series, and the AGO (Gainesville Chapter) Series, as well as numerous benefit concerts.

Declan and Tiffany’s commitment to education and community outreach is an integral part of their mission. Both were Piano Instructors at the University of Florida and coached numerous student duos during their residency as staff members at the UF International Piano Festival. In 2022, they launched their own successful piano duet series in Gainesville, FL.

 Tiffany is currently the Music Director at St. Andrew Anglican Church, Alliston, and the Founder/Director of Sonetto: Poetry and Music Program for Seniors. Declan is the Founder and Coordinator of the Melody of Caring program. Besides his prolific career in performance, he is a sought-after pedagogue whose students have earned state and national awards. Declan and Tiffany live in Newmarket, Ontario, together with their two cats. They enjoy gardening and reading.
